I'm terrible...

I'm a terrible person. And I decided to tell everyone here first.

I managed to talk the hubby into a cockatiel for ourselves in the next 6 months to a year... (YAY)

I'm trying to talk the hubby into letting me order a case of 4 cages (one for the sister, one for us... and 2 ... "extra").

And today. Just now. I sent an email out inquiring about someone trying to rehome a pair of budgies. Still haven't told hubby yet. *cough*

I'm thinking his office would make a FANTASTIC bird room...

last week i visited a pet store that has birds, i usually avoid this...they had the cutest little quaker and of course they got him out for me...oh too sweet he was...luckily i took my wife and she dragged me out of the store (kicking and screaming)

Yes, yes they do. But is it love for me, or love for Poe? They seem to have a little "thing" going on behind my back. Preening, sharing of juice, head scratches...

My own Husband has stopped asking me about the non-stop parcels (toy part replenishment) that arrive at our doorstop. He knows better

I'm starting to think about ways to arrange his office to make room for many birdie homes. Places I could hang swings.... which walls would be best for drilling perches into....

One day, he'll come home from work and his computer will be in the living room and Poe will have many, many, MANY birdie buddies....

I don't know what your house looks like, but it sounds to me like it's pretty fantastic!

We've already agreed to get another GCC in a few years. Right now we're thinking cockatiel simply because they are more likely to be looking for rehomes in Winnipeg. Finding Poe when we did was pure luck.
