Weight Loss

My dad gets all upset when he thinks I am dieting cus eating disorders seem to run in the family! Its sad. But he is trying to lose weight so we are both going to start walking together and we get most of our produce locally(: When we settle in we are going to get a treadmill. I want him to lose weight so he can live a long time! Quitting smoking is on his list too. My stepmom is going to join in the family walks also. I am a vegetarian, have been since... I was 12 I think. And now my dad is trying to become one too, so yay!

Whenever I'm not hungry for a meal, my mom thinks I'm starving myself.

"Mom, look at me, does it look like I'm starving to you?"

Julsie, how you holding on with diet end exercises?

Whenever I look at this this thread, I think "I'm going to do it!".

But then everyday, I break that promise.

Today it was Manakish Zaatar, made fresh at a local Lebanese bakery.

tomorrow is another day zaza....lol

I know I've said it a few times, but thanks for the support and keeping me honest! I had a lot of banana pudding and triple fudge firecracker brownies today

You can't be good 24/7. You have to decide when (or what) you're allowed to splurge on.
When I was dieting, Sunday was reserved as my pigout day. My dad's a big time cook and Sundays have always been "family day". To resist eating all the goodies on Sunday was just a plan for failure. So I'd pig out on Sundays. That helped me to stick with the diet for the other 6 days of the week. Besides, a huge pig out on one day is not going to ruin everything in the long term.

Julsie, don't worry! You will beat that tomorrow and day after tomorrow, and day after...

That is how I feel on a treadmill.

I've learned that if you want cookies, eat ONE cookie not all.. and then do 50 burpees.

Today, one my step dad's ex-employees came by and gave us 4 free cakes. He's a truck driver, and there was left over cakes or something, so he decided to give them to us.

I had a nice big helping of chocolate fudge cake

Sounds delicious.

I bet when you go on your own, you will have different lifestyle, less stress or another type of stress and then will be the best time. You'll be finally able to keep that promise!

Running is the only thing I can not do. I was running from my sport class in high-school, when we have running test. Any exercises you tell me, I do, but not running. I admire people who can run.
(but when I clean the houses some people call me speedy)

The problem for the most people, who are overweight(including me) is to stop after that first cookie... If that would be so easy, I probably still be size 9

I don't know why that looks so much more unappealing than other types of exercise...

went for a hike, did some gardening then did this: well, I started off the day alright...


and oh gosh, burpees... eww! hated them in PE, hate them now.
