| Sparrow's cage is in the dining room. From the living room you can see the table but not his cage. My youngest son (2yr old) was finishing his lunch this afternoon as I cleaned up the living room. I heard my son clink the door on Sparrow's cage and went to investigate. My kid likes to put his "bite bites" in for the birdy. He never messes, he just loves to share. So anyways, I open the cage to take out suspected bite bites and Sparrow is gone. Holy crap. I turn around when I hear my toddler start to giggle and lo and behold Sparrow is on his back clinging on to his shirt making kissing noises. Toddler bust Sparrow out of the joint, and Sparrow ran. Toddler has been raised with birds, very gentle and respectful but we obviously don't encourage him handling the birds without us. Guess I need to toddler proof the cage! |

| When I got Sparrow from the beeb he just looked at me like "Oh, hey Mom." These two, they are in cahoots. |

These two, they are in cahoots. Nothing wrong with a relationship like that! I get the feeling your son's going to be the kid that brings home stuff all the time - "but mom! He followed me home!" | |

| Shoot. I still do that. . . EC's the one who has to give me a reality check, "Mom, where are you going to put that? Do you have housing for it? Do you know how to take care of it?" Kid spoils all my fun! | |
