| I posted this on FB:
Sometimes parrots talking are downright scary! This morning I noticed Scooter had a whole wing full of neglected feathers. I made him show me the wing, and it didn't appear injured. So I recalled he's shamefully overdue for his favorite method of bathing -- in my bathroom sink with a stream of water running and a growing pool in the bottom. As soon as I turned on the water he jumped in and began splashing away saying "Thank you! Thank you!"

| I've had that happen with Jack. I was talking to him and myself one day, trying to decide what to have for dinner. So I asked Jack "Should I have *insert meal here*" and he answered immediately; "Yup." | |

| Einstein knows what a kiss is. He'll walk up to me, and give me a big kiss "muah!" followed by "your such a good boy".
He might not understand what he is saying, but without a doubt he knows the meaning of what he says.

| Told y'all talking birds are freaky! They rank right up there with creepy little kids in horror movies. Just plain WRONG! - henpecked wrote:

| Reminds me of the first night I had Sebastian and was walking him down the basement stairs in the dark and he said (in a whisper no less) "Where are we going? What's down here?" and I told him we had to get stuff out of his old cage before we went home and he nodded and said "ohhhhhhh." | |
