| Hi guys,
Really quick one, I'm like down to 1-2 days of Harrisons. Over the holiday nothing was posting so I'm only able to buy some now. I order it online so it should be here tomorrow if I get a fast response here.
Loro has been on Harrisons high potency for almost a year I think. I just thought it was better for him even though he's not breeding but maybe to keep healthy and since it's winter now it's like an extra boost.
I'm wondering if I should change to the normal Adult lifetime now? Is there that much of a difference or is it safe to stay on High Potency since he's so energetic. I'm only wondering if its the high potency that might be making him emmm super hormonal? As in the little guy is worse then one of those humping dogs and will show his love a little bit too much to anyone and anything constantly haha. Would it have anything to do with the high potency?
So stay on High Potency or move to the Adult lifetime? Do they taste the same?

| Higher fat diet could lead to more harmonal issues .I'd try the adult life time and see if it helps, however i feel Loro is just a horny conure.Winter time would be the time to feed HP formula but i doubt Lorenzo really needs it. | |

| I'd change to the Adult Lifetime. Im on my phone so haven't looked at the differences yet, but I know that high fat and protein levels in a birds diet are used to stimulate them into breeding mode. It's one of the things I'm doing w my flock right now. | |

| hmmm interesting so the HP has more fat? weird when you take them off sunflower seeds and think that's the highest fat protein for them. Ok well I ordered the adult one now, small pack- see if it helps. Hopefully that's enough time to tell if there is a difference. Just tried to get him the best especially with his dry feather issues which he had the other week on his head, and now he seems to be moulting again.
And Richard...I have a feeling the same thing haha but its worth a shot. else ill need to get the guy a girlfriend and start breeding blue throats!

| Harrison's literature has specific warnings about the High Potency formula and feeding it the same time as certain treats so as not to OD the bird on nutrition. There is too much of a good thing. | |

What are those certain treats? hes pretty much just been on that with apple/grapes/sweetcorn and green beans daily. and once or twice a week i give him a little seed bowl with an amazonial bird mix http://www.northernparrots.com/vitakraft-amazonian-food-750g-prod5951/?src=froogleIs that bad?
